Pair of Top 10's for Schrader at I-55
Ken Schrader returned to the driver seat over the weekend with a pair of race nights at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Mo.).
Action opened on Friday evening with Ken partaking in the Employee Staffing Group B-Mod division. Thirty-four drivers registered for competition. After qualifying fifth fastest in time trials, Ken finished third in his heat race to earn the ninth-starting spot for the 20-lap feature.
Advancing six positions in the feature, he crossed the finish line in third behind Treb Jacoby and Joe Rudy.
KSR switched gears on Saturday with Schrader jumping behind the wheel of the team's BNM Auto Body DIRTcar UMP Modified. With 26 competitors setting their sights on a feature win, Ken qualified fourth fastest in his group. On the heels of a third-place finish in his heat race, Schrader went on to finish sixth in the night's 20-lap feature.
