Klein Opens 2023 Campaign at Pevely
Mother Nature finally took a weekend off so that Daryn Klein could kick off his 2023 campaign.
Klein trekked to Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Mo.) on Saturday night for a DIRTcar Super Late Model event.
With 16 entries on hand, Klein battled adversity throughout the night. He slipped from the third-starting spot to a sixth-place finish after running out of tear offs.
In the feature Daryn started 12th but retired on the sixth lap with overheating issues.
