Top-10 finish at I-55 Raceway

Ryan Timms returned to the driver’s seat of the Mystik Lubricants No. 5T Sprinter on Friday evening at Creek County Raceway (Sapulpa, Okla.) to compete in a field of 27 Lucas Oil ASCS Sprints. Following a seventh-to-fifth run in his heat race, Timms jumped up two spots in the 30-lap feature to finish 12th.

With Saturday’s plans at Caney Valley Speedway (Caney, Kan.) rained out, Timms trekked to Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Mo.) to pilot the Dave Mac Dalby Motorsports No. 67 entry. With a second-place finish in his heat race placing him on the sixth row for the feature, Ryan clawed forward one spot in the 30-lap affair to place 10th.
